Details on this bento are posted here which explains a bit more about it’s contents and a few important tips about packing bentos for school. I also posted a recipe for the Chicken Tsukune here.
This bento is featured on “Coffee and Vanilla” roundup!

Hi Vanessa, Thank you! I’m glad to know that the videos are helpful. Keeps me going…
wow, and i was always wondering how you managed to get so many things to fit so nicely inside xD I never really knew how to use the lettuce, I just thought it was put on the bottom for decoration or something.
Thanks for the Video!
Thanks Lufflee! Yep, I use the lettuce a lot as baran and for decorative purposes too!
Great video! I’m looking forward to more Back to School bentos, very helpful.
Hi Laura, Welcome to our bento bloge! Thanks so much for the feedback. It keeps me going…
Your how to videos are always so helpful. You must have a large stash of goodies to be able to keep adding all that you need to make it just right! I usually run out of different things that I could use.
Hi Lyndsey, Yes I do keep a variety of produce and frozen foods as a bento-stash. If I don’t have berries, then it would be a radish, etc… Thanks so much for the compliments!
Your videos are so well done, Debra! I need to keep them in mind when I pack bentos, because sometimes I get so worried about placement. But thinking of each element makes it so much easier, like colors, and different tastes.
Hi Sonoma B., Thanks so much for your compliments…I keep making more!
Great tutorial Debra, love it
Thank you Margot!
Very nice and informative video, Debra. Thanks for taking the time to put it up and share with us so generously.
