The B.O.M.B. Challenge for February

February’s “The BOMB” challenge is now closed!  A huge thank you for submitting your bentos.  The winner has been selected and it Jenn’s Red Salmon bento.  

Red for Valentine’s Day, red for your heart because it’s the American Heart Association’s “Heart Awareness Month” and red for the lucky money envelopes that are given during Chinese New Year celebration. This year’s lunar new year is coincidently on February 14th and it the year of the tiger! Go ahead and do a tiger—a red tiger! :P   

This month’s challenge will start on Feb. 1st, 12:01 am PST and end on Feb. 15th, 11:59 pm PST. “The Best of The Month Bento” will be selected randomly. Just link your photo to the comments on this page  

Have fun with this as there are many bento items and food to choose from.  

Apple, tomatoes, raspberries, cranberries, peppers, and umeboshi are red… just to name a few!  Comb through your bento stash for red picks, cups and bento boxes. Red props such as chopsticks and other utensils qualify too. Be creative and submit as many times as you like! Can’t wait to see all your creativity.  

One bento will be selected randomly at the end of the challenge and placed on The B.O.M.B page with links to your site and of course…bragging rights!
