Chicken Katsu & Curry Snack Bento
Today’s featured bento box is filled with chicken katsu and curry from Boom Noodle, an Asian-ish restaurant in Seattle, WA. I’ll be writing up a review about our experience soon. In the meantime here’s what’s left of what Saba Man ordered. It was a large serving…that’s a hint!
The tomatoes, broccolini and purple carrots are my embellishments to this snack sized bento box.

Delectable-looking as always. Those textures are singing out to me, and the broccolini and purple carrot tree is lovely!
i am loving the purple carrot slices flowering on that broccolini branch — a classic hapa bento touch: beautiful, simple, natural, vibrant. can’t wait for the restaurant review!
me too! I love the purple carrots on the brocolli stalks, making it look rather like spring blooms..proves that even leftovers can look rather jazzed up and delicious!
The tomatoes looks so delectable it’s unreal…
Oh gosh I am drooooling O_O! Beautiful bento too!
It looks delicious. Never seen purple carrots before…interesting.
Awesome Debra! Purple carrots make the color stand out there … Always admire how you can mixed and match the food colors perfectly. How to learn a lot from you
You had me at KATSU CURRY!!!
Is that mouthwatering or what? I want Boom Noodle!
Wonder if they deliver?
Lovely bento with the purple carrot flowers!

Great work with the leftovers. I love the purple flowers too. Great way to bring leftover back to life:)
Love your tree! Which is called a ‘boom’ in Dutch, btw
So that’s really in tune with Boom Noodle!
A coinky-dink! Thanks for that info. So cool.
