Penguin Bento

Sheri from Happy Little Bento called out the next bento “wave” and it’s penguins. Her penguin is just too cute—I can’t resist giving it a try.
This penguin … a musubi fledgling penguin, still has baby feathers sticking out from the top of his head! 
Saba Man hasn’t seen this yet so won’t he be surprised when he opens the lid to see kyaraben!
The penguin is surrounded by steamed broccolini, shoyu chicken, grape tomatoes and enoki mushrooms.

This is just too cute Debra! I think Saba Man will be very surprised for this kyaraben bento. And I spot ‘hapa feet’ right under the feet hahaha … Love it (^.^)
Penguin power! As a bentobird, I’ve got to love a feathered friend bento like this–super cute, as was sherimiya’s! Also love the idea of a surprise kyaraben–will be fun to hear of Saba Man’s reaction

I hope Saba Man likes him he is so cute. Thank you for giving me a challenge or maybe we should be thanking Sheri for this one. I’ve never done a penguin let alone kyaraben bento before so this will be a challenge for me. I hope it come out looking like a penguin and not an alien. hee hee We shall see.
